I just wanted to
let everyone know that we are still actively working towards the cause
of academic freedom in the state of Florida. We had an INCREDIBLY
successful semester, and I would like to thank everyone who helped
make that happen - all of your support and willingness to come forward
have helped many to realize what an important issue this is.
Additionally, on Monday, June 13th, an academic freedom forum will be
held at the University of West Florida, in Pensacola. The panelists
for the forum include: myself, Representative Dennis Baxley (R)-Ocala,
Representative John Stargel (R)-Lakeland, someone from David
Horowitz's office, and possibly several others. The forum is open to
the public, so if you can make it to Pensacola, please feel free to
attend; it starts at 7:30 CST - send me an email for more details. Once
again, thank you for all your support and help this past semester.
Look forward to more great strides in the name of freedom in the fall.
We are most likely looking at having Rep. Baxley speak at FSU early
in the semester, and possibly even David Horowitz. The last day of
spring semester, we were approved for RSO status - we are now official!
